When an idea excites me, I feel compelled to bring it to life, no matter how challenging or time-consuming. I seek the right balance between concept, design, and aesthetics, and keep refining until it feels just right. The creative process is deeply rewarding.

Step into my world

Creating has always been a deep passion of mine, and I greatly appreciate the warm responses from people everywhere. Many tell me they start seeing animals in unexpected shapes and objects after viewing my work, which I love to inspire.

I was honored to have my work showcased on Adobe Photoshop's Instagram for a week (day 1,  2 ,  3 ,  4 ,  5 ), where I shared insights into my style and creative process. Several of my pieces have also featured in UNESCO exhibitions promoting nature conservation, something I am very proud of.

Martijn Schrijver

Born in 1979 in Winterswijk, the Netherlands, and raised in Aalten, I’ve always been driven to express my imagination through drawing and building.

Over time, I developed an interest in digital art and sought to expand my creative vision. Traveling the world, I was inspired by the beauty of nature, architecture, and design. After studying graphic design, I worked in the design industry and have been freelancing under the name Tref since 2010. I also published an art book and a children's book independently.
