Surreal Nature Art Through the Seasons
The changing seasons have always been a natural source of visual inspiration. Each season brings its own colours, textures and atmosphere.
For this series, I used those differences as the starting point for four surreal digital artworks.
Spring – Frog Tree
Fresh green leaves form the suggestion of a frog’s face, turning an ordinary tree into something unexpected.
Summer – Flamingo Tree
Two tree trunks become the legs of a flamingo, surrounded by the bright colours of summer.
Autumn – Tiger Tree
Warm orange and brown tones create the impression of a tiger within the leaves and branches.
Winter – Lion Inside
A quieter winter scene. The bare branches and snow reveal the subtle shape of a lion’s head.
The images are built from photographs and digital compositing, combining natural textures and forms until the animal becomes part of the landscape.
The idea behind the series is simple: look closely at what is already there.
Nature contains an endless supply of shapes, patterns and unexpected connections. Sometimes a small change in perspective is enough to reveal them.
